The RiteWeight In-Line scale or Conveyor Scale is a convenient and inexpensive tool to obtain weight data for any agricultural product such as root crops, vegetables, grain, or even for aggregates. Anyone can own a scale for minimal upfront cost with our system. RiteWeight will help accurately determine the weight of material getting loaded onto trucks or into storage.
The components install easily in conveyors with poly or rubber, flat or troughed belts or in conveyors equipped with sieving chains, a.k.a. webs or belted chains.
The RiteWeight system includes durable components easily installed in most common conveyors. Since just a few parts need to be added to the conveyor, modifications are not difficult or time-consuming.
Several optional features can be added to the Conveyor Scale. Most popular is the 4-20mA (or 0-5V) proportional scale output. This is used to control the speed of the pump that applies protective chemicals to seed. Customers also order the Relay Output option. This can be used to stop the conveyor or sound an alarm when a pre-set weight limit is reached.
Greentronics also offers wired and wireless large bright external displays.
For equipment in high pressure wash down areas, protective enclosures are available.
An Infra-red temperature sensor may be added for measuring and logging product temperatures. This information may be used to produce cellar (bin) maps that show temperature gradients.
The 500 series scales will be WIFI capable later during 2024. If WIFI is available or a device can be hot-spotted, scale data can automatically upload to the Greentronics cloud server for processing and reporting. Users may request a user name and password for secure access to view, share, or download reports.
